The program will span through cutting-edge industrial applications of Big Data technologies, innovative business cases and inspiring future visions in data economy, and insights on EU policy-making and R&D&I funding in this area, to be a landmark for future research and innovation programmes and policy decisions both at the EU and Member States level, as well as for enhancing data-driven innovation further and strengthening the European data economy, to enhance its positioning worldwide.

The central topic of this year will be “Trusted AI in Smart Industry“: as the effective management of personal data is currently driving a growing number of digital services enabling algorithmic-based decisions in several domains, the conference will explore the transparency and accountability of such data-based algorithmic systems, which represents a critical competitiveness factor and a crucial requirement for trustfulness and reliability.

The event will constitute a discussion platform as well as a business and technology-oriented showcase and exhibition space for the Big Data Value ‘Public Private Partnership’ established by the European Commission and the European data stakeholders. Registration is free at the dedicated Eventbrite platform.
